Everyone Has a Story: A Submission Opportunity for Subscribers of "How To Playwright"
HOW TO PLAYWRIGHT is Accepting Submissions for Future Articles - Deadline: Ongoing
Hello subscribers of How to Playwright! In 2025, I am starting a new series called Everyone Has a Story, highlighting the work of my treasured subscribers. I am collecting examples of great monologues and dialogue (1,000 character max) for future articles and I am particularly interested in pieces taken all or in part from your real life experiences.
To be considered, you must be a current subscriber.
Send your writing sample, along with your email address and a link to where people can learn more about the particular piece you are submitting. You might be included in an upcoming article!
There is no deadline, this is an ongoing opportunity.
Please limit your submissions to one per season (4 per year).
I won't be able to respond to every single submission, but you will get an email confirmation letting you know I've received it.
“Winners” will receive a free sticker from my art collection and inclusion in a future article of How to Playwright.
Thanks for submitting and good luck!
Incidentally, I’d love to hear from you about how you’re doing and how your year has been. Feel free to drop me a line.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Audrey

Thanks for reading How To Playwright!
Just making sure - you are soliciting excerpts from plays, or monologues that are largely autobiographical, not essays on the playwright's life?
